5 ways to personalise your Flash Drives

Some quick & cost effective ways you can brand your Flash Drives.

In this article, we will show you how versatile the humble Flash Drive really is. If you are a regular buyer of branded Flash Drives – or even a first timer, you will be surprised at how many ways you can personalise your branded USB Memory Sticks.

Many of our customers approach us with the first (and standard) option – to print / engrave a logo onto their chosen flash drive model.  However, there is so much more you can do to make your brand go further…

1.)  Colour Match your chosen Flash Drives

Many suppliers of USB Memory Sticks now offer a Colour Matching Service at a small additional fee. This is particularly useful for any marketing professionals who are required to follow strict brand guidelines – which details the exact colour / shade that must be used for any promotional items. Simply send your USB supplier the pantone colour code or swatch that you would like your Flash Drives to be matched to.

If you do decide to personalise your Flash Drives in this way, please remember to check with your supplier which models can be colour matched (as there will be a few instances where this is not possible for certain models.)

2.)  Accessorise it!

Printed lanyards, key chain attachments and plain neck straps – all of these are great, low budget accessories that can be easily added to branded Flash Drives If you are lucky, your supplier might even be able to offer you some of these accessories at no extra cost. 3.)  Pick Your Packaging

This is an option that is very popular amongst photographers and when USB Sticks are purchased as wedding favours. All in all, this is a great finishing touch that will make your recipients feel all the more special.

4.)  Upload a Personal Greeting / a Video or even Music

Instead of uploading documents onto your bulk USB Memory Sticks, why not try something a different for your next marketing campaign / event? For example, to say “thank you” or “welcome”  you could upload an audio message, a video or even music to your USB Flash Drive.

5.)  Alternatively… Go for the ‘Ultimate Personalisation’ Option:  Design a Bespoke Shape

If you choose to go the ‘whole hog’ and design your own shape, all you really need to do is – put pen to paper or take a picture of the object / character you’d like to re-create as a Flash Drive, and then send it onto your supplier. In a few weeks, you will be sent a sample in the post for your approval. (It’s as simple as that!)
